The updated Interactive Kiosk arrives with the latest installment in Apple’s powerful iPad Pro lineup of devices. With a faster A12Z Bionic chip, a new 10MP Ultra Wide camera, and a LiDAR depth scanner, the 4th generation iPad Pro is built to deliver the latest generation of user experiences, both at home and out in the world. Aila’s Interactive Kiosk leverages these new features and adds a range of functionality to our most robust offering to-date. 

Resiliency Mode for non-interrupted services

Power outages happen, whether intentional or by accidental loss of power. In the event that you do lose power, the Interactive Kiosk will switch into Resiliency Mode, allowing you to continue to operate without disrupting the customer experience. 

This is achieved by reverse powering the kiosk using the iPad battery as a power source. Internal tests have shown that users can average 4-5 hours of regular use on a full iPad charge.

Audio port for compliance and convenience

More onboard power for the latest peripherals

The USB-C hub inside the Interactive Kiosk can deliver up to 4.5 Watts to two peripherals, including payment terminals, printers, and more. This makes deploying a seamless self-checkout experience easy with a streamlined installation process. 

Aila’s Interactive Kiosk is compatible with leading payment providers such as Verifone and Ingenico, and the most commonly used enterprise receipt printers like Epson and Star Micronics. 

Generational changes in speed

The 4th generation iPad Pro has a 2GB jump in RAM and an updated processor (A12Z) to enable faster workflows, all on the same stunning 12.9-inch Retina display.
